โขSoak the dal in water for at least 2-3 hours or overnight to soften them and reduce cooking time.

โขAdd fresh water and cook until the dal is tender. Cooking times may vary but typically take about 20-30 minutes on the stovetop or 10-15 minutes in a pressure cooker.
