Creamy Mango Phirni

๐ŸฅญSilky rice pudding infused with mango magic! โœจ๐Ÿš


๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup basmati rice (soaked for 30 mins) ๐Ÿš

  • 2 cups milk ๐Ÿฅ›

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened Kesar mango pulp ๐Ÿฅญ

  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste) ๐Ÿฌ

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (elaichi) ๐ŸŒฟ

  • A few strands of saffron soaked in warm milk (optional) ๐ŸŒธ

  • Chopped nuts for garnish (almonds, pistachios) ๐ŸŒฐ๐Ÿฅœ

  • Rose petals or silver leaf for garnish (optional) ๐ŸŒนโœจ


๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions:

1๏ธโƒฃ Grind Rice:
Drain the soaked rice and grind into a coarse paste using 2โ€“3 tbsp water.

2๏ธโƒฃ Boil Milk:
In a heavy-bottomed pan, boil the milk. Lower the flame and add the rice paste while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

3๏ธโƒฃ Cook the Phirni Base:
Let it cook on low heat for 10โ€“12 minutes until thick and creamy. Stir often to avoid burning.

4๏ธโƒฃ Sweeten It:
Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well until sugar dissolves.

5๏ธโƒฃ Add Mango Goodness:
Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool slightly. Then mix in the mango pulp and saffron milk.

6๏ธโƒฃ Chill & Serve:
Pour into earthen pots or bowls. Refrigerate for at least 1โ€“2 hours.

7๏ธโƒฃ Garnish & Enjoy:
Top with chopped nuts, rose petals, or silver leaf. Serve chilled! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿฅญ
