Mango Paneer Curry

Sweet, tangy & spicy – a tropical twist to your favorite paneer dish!


πŸ“ Ingredients:

  • πŸ§€ 200g paneer (cubed)
  • πŸ₯­ Β½ cup unsweetened Kesar mango pulp
  • πŸ§… 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • πŸ… 1 tomato (pureed)
  • πŸ§„ 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • πŸ«’ 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • πŸ§‚ Salt to taste
  • 🌢️ Β½ tsp red chili powder
  • 🟑 Β½ tsp turmeric powder
  • πŸ§‚ 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 🌿 Β½ tsp garam masala
  • πŸ₯₯ ΒΌ cup coconut milk or cream (optional for creaminess)
  • 🌿 Chopped coriander for garnish

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions:

  1. πŸ”₯ Heat oil/ghee in a pan. Add onions and sautΓ© till golden brown.
  2. πŸ§„ Add ginger-garlic paste. SautΓ© for 1-2 minutes.
  3. πŸ… Add tomato puree and cook until oil starts separating.
  4. πŸ§‚ Add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. πŸ₯­ Stir in the mango pulp and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the flavors combine.
  6. πŸ₯₯ Add coconut milk/cream if using for a richer texture.
  7. πŸ§€ Add paneer cubes, mix gently, and let simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  8. 🌿 Sprinkle garam masala, mix, and turn off the heat.
  9. 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

  • With hot roti, naan, or jeera rice 🍚
