Mango Paneer Curry
Sweet, tangy & spicy β a
tropical twist to your favorite paneer dish!
π Ingredients:
- π§ 200g paneer
(cubed)
- π₯ Β½ cup unsweetened
Kesar mango pulp
- π§
1 medium onion
(finely chopped)
- π
1 tomato (pureed)
- π§ 1 tsp
ginger-garlic paste
- π« 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- π§ Salt to taste
- πΆοΈ Β½ tsp red chili
powder
- π‘ Β½ tsp turmeric
powder
- π§ 1 tsp coriander
powder
- πΏ Β½ tsp garam masala
- π₯₯ ΒΌ cup coconut milk
or cream (optional for creaminess)
- πΏ Chopped coriander
for garnish
π©βπ³ Instructions:
- π₯ Heat oil/ghee
in a pan. Add onions and sautΓ© till golden brown.
- π§ Add ginger-garlic
paste. SautΓ© for 1-2 minutes.
- π
Add tomato puree
and cook until oil starts separating.
- π§ Add turmeric,
chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- π₯ Stir in the mango
pulp and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the flavors combine.
- π₯₯ Add coconut
milk/cream if using for a richer texture.
- π§ Add paneer cubes,
mix gently, and let simmer for 4-5 minutes.
- πΏ Sprinkle garam
masala, mix, and turn off the heat.
- πΏ Garnish with fresh
coriander leaves.
π½οΈ Serving Suggestions:
- With hot roti, naan, or jeera rice π
- Great with mango pickle or papad on the side for a
desi touch! π₯
